Sam Edelman Shoes was started in 2004 and is based in New York City. After more than three successful decades in the industry, launching Sam & Libby in Atlanta Georgia in 1987 and selling it to the Maxwell Shoe Company in 1996, the Edelman’s created the company to make affordable designer fashions for women and girls.
